The Deputy Coordinator of FIRESENSE Dr Kosmas Dimitropoulos gave an interview about the project to the Athens News Agency on 10 May 2011. The interview and articles about FIRESENSE were released in more than twenty Greek news portals.
On Friday 6 May 2011, ITI-CERTH organized an Open Day in order to present its research achievements to the scientic community and the general public. More than 100 people visited ITI-CERTH and were informed about its research and projects through videos, presentations and interactive demos.
