The FIRESENSE system installed in Rhodiapolis successfully detected a wildfire near the ancient town of Olympos (Cirali) next to Rhodiapolis on September 2, 2012. The fire was detected by the visible cameras network using an intelligent video-based smoke detection algoritm.
